Free and independent

Best Boy is a 100% free, independent service. There are no paid tiers, no paywalled features, and no trials that expire. Donations are welcomed to help keep it running, but they are never expected, encouraged, or required. We will never sell the work you create with our tools, share it with third parties, or use it to train machine learning models.

Accounts

An account exists for one reason: so your work is saved and available to you across devices. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information when registering, and tell us promptly of any unauthorised use.

Use of the service

Best Boy provides pre-production and production management tools for film and television. You may use the screenplays, breakdowns, schedules, budgets, and other outputs you create for personal or commercial purposes, subject to applicable laws.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, including attempting to disrupt it, reverse engineer it, gain unauthorised access to it or to other accounts, or use it to produce unlawful, infringing, or harmful content. You are responsible for holding the necessary rights to any material you upload.

Intellectual property

The Best Boy brand, software, and design system remain the property of their owner, Ms. Hessa Al Hammadi. Everything you create using the tools belongs to you. We claim no ownership of your content and no licence to it beyond what is technically necessary to store it, show it back to you, and share it with people you explicitly invite.

Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. No guarantee is made of uninterrupted availability, and the service may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time. Keep your own backups of anything you cannot afford to lose. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, nor for lost production time or lost data, arising from your use of the service.

Termination

You may stop using the service and request deletion of your account at any time through the contact form. Accounts that breach these terms may be suspended or removed.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
